Late Shri Amarchand Mehta pioneered many businesses in Nagpur during the decades of 1970 to 1990, mainly in the field of forging, construction, sugar mill, trading of coal & steel, along with his brothers.

He was joined by his 2 sons, Mr. Manish Mehta & Mr. Nilesh Mehta in 1990s.

In the family settlement, late Shri Amarchand Mehta got separated from his brothers & pulled out of all family business by liquidating his interest in late 1990s. Both brothers, Mr. Manish Mehta & Mr. Nilesh Mehta have since then, taken initiatives in Power Generation business.

Moving up in the growth ladder, the Mehta family has taken big initiative in power sector and is in the process of setting up of coal fired power generation project with a capacity of 600 MW in Maharashtra.

Mr Manish Amarchand Mehta, is main architects behind the group. With about three decades of experience in the diverse business fields of power and infrastructure, sugar mill, co-generation of power, distillery, Mr.Manish Mehta is presently sphere heading the power initiatives of the family.

Mr. Nilesh Mehta is younger brother of Mr. Manish Mehta and has around 25 years of experience. He has been involved in advising on power & infrastructure sector and has been associated with companies engaged in manufacturing, telecommunication, power generation and infrastructure.

Mr. Mahesh Prasad Mehrotra, age 74 years, B.com, LLB and FCA has more than 43 years of experience as a practicing Chartered Accountant. He was on the Board of Canara Bank as Non-Executive Director. Presently he is member – Central Board of Trustees, Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), Ministry of Labour, Government of India, New Delhi, He is also on the board of several companies including SBI Caps Securities Ltd.

Mr.Lee Chang Sik is a nominee director of KOSEP  on the board of the Company. He is M.E. (Master of Engineering), MBA. He has a rich experience of over 25 years in Power Sector working with Korea Electric Power Company (KEPCO) and KOSEP. He had vital role in construction, commissioning and operation of four thermal power plants (500 MW X 4 units and 560 MW X 2 units). He has over 7 years experience in Planning and Management Dept. of KOSEP as special support to CEO of KOSEP. Besides, he has been part of senior management team for developing Ansan  Gas Combined Plant of 830 MW and Korea new thermal power projects (2000 MW X 3 units).  He has also served as O&M Engineering Consultant in India and Bahrain on behalf of KOSEP.

Mr. G. J. Girase, Joint Managing Director, age  57 is MBA, LLB & MA He has  over 30 years experience with exposure to projects in power, transport, urban infrastructure, project implementation, planning and finance sectors.  Amongst his other assignments, he also worked as Deputy Municipal Commissioner (Vigilance and Taxation) and CAFO with Thane Municipal Corporation for a period of five years.  Then from 2003 to 2007, he  worked as Jt. Project Director with Mumbai Urban Transport Project, (World Bank funded ) MMRDA, Mumbai.   He joined  Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Ltd (MAHAGENCO) as Director Finance and served  for five years (till 2012). He was Director on Mahaguj and UCM Boards as well.

Capt. Alok Prabhat, age 58 years,Senior Master Marine with over 35 years of International experience in Shipping, Energy Projects , Mining, Oil and Gas Sectors. Recognized for good international contacts, sound decisions with capability of completing complex  projects, globally. He has a special interest in Renewable Energy and New Technologies.

He has also worked from1987 to 1994 as Master (Captain) with UGLANDS Shipping Company (U.K) and Bergshav AS, Grimstad (Norway). He was also-in charge of six major ship building, / repair activities in – Singapore, Malaysia,  Germany,Spain ,Yugoslavia, and  Japan.

From 2000 to 2008 was Managing.Director,in Mitasu Group UAE and, representing  Fahlke Control Systems, Germany / European  companies in the Middle East,North Africa and  India for supply and setting up of Modular Power Plants/projects  and Control Systems to the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Industries .  Assisted FCS Group , Germany & Norind Group India with setting up MSW to Energy RE Projects  and Convential Power projects in Europe ,Middle East and Indonesia.

Mr. B.B. Tandon, IAS, age 73 yrs, holds Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Delhi. He also holds an ‘Associate Certificate’ from the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).

Mr Tandon joined the Indian Administrative Service with Government of India in 1965 and retired as Chief Election Commissioner of India in June 2006.Prior to his appointment as Election Commissioner and Chief Election Commissioner, he held several key posts that included Secretary to the Government of India, in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension and in Ministry of Mines.He has served the Ministry of Finance, Department of Company Affairs, Ministry of Industry and Department of Defence Production and Supplies.He also held various top-level posts with State Government of Himachal Pradesh and Union Territories of Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

He has also  worked  as a member of the “Commission on Constitutional and Electoral Reforms” set up by the Government of Mauritius in November 2001 , International Election Observer for the Second Cambodian General election held in 2003 and member of the International Technical Advisory Committee of the U.N. on the 2007 General Election in Nigeria.

Mr. K Ravi Kumar, age 64 years has done his B.E. and M.E (IIT, Madras). He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration. He is ex- Chairman and Managin Director of BHEL and currently on the Board of Reliance Infrastructure Limited. He has handled variety of assignments in power sector in various capacities during his long career spanning 36 years.  His fields of expertise are Design and Engineering, Construction and Project Management of Thermal, Hydro, Nuclear, Gas based Power Plants and Marketing of Power Projects.

Mr. Srinibas Panigrahi, age 45 years and a commerce graduatehas over 25 years of experience in Accounts and Finance.  He has worked as Group Chief Manager, Accounts & Finance in  Nava Bharat Group.
